Montezuma Castle is an ancient cliff dwelling in the Verde Valley. Montezuma didn't have anything to do with this structure, however. The Spanish merely assumed it was related when they passed through the area.

Montezuma Well was formed when a limestone cavern collapsed. It's a natural spring, so the well is constantly replenished by over 1,000,000 gallons of water per day.
