Remains of the boat Bert Loper died in. The Grand Old Man of the Colorado died running 24.5 Mile Rapid. His boat was found here at mile 41.5, poor old Bert was found 25 years later and purportedly another 40 miles down river. For more on Bert, go find "The Very Hard Way" by Dimock.
